I’ve decided to try to walk my way back into running. After 2.5 years of broken ribs, back issues, and other health problems, I’ve determined walking, at least at the moment, doesn’t cause me any pain. I can’t carry anything while walking longer distances, but walking itself works.
Recently finished construction has provided a nice 2.3 mile loop that can easily be expanded to 5k. I’m looking forward to walking this 3x a week. Maybe in a couple of months I can work my way up to a jogged 5k.
